~protein packed bacon omelet bites~

I recently found this recipe here and knew I had to try it.

These are so good and so filling because of all the protein!

I didn't use the avocado, simply because I didn't have any. I also used turkey
bacon rather than regular bacon. Trader Joes has great turkey bacon.
I seriously have been eating these for breakfast lunch and dinner, and one out of two kids ate these :)

I broke down the nutritional info for you too, making it with turkey bacon and no avocado.

1 serving=

3.7 grams fat
3 grams carbs
and
17.8 grams protein

~vegetable quiche recipe~

Fudge, cookies, peppermint mochas, eggnog, you know the drill.
All those yummy holiday treats which, if you are like me, you indulge in a little too much.
Whenever I have had a particulary bad food day, I try and make up for it by eating low fat and high protein foods.
This quiche is sure to reverse that muffin top.

***edited to say I added spinach as well…..

~easy crustless quiche~

Cody has been home from school for a week sick. He
was diagnosed with walking pneumonia. The poor little guy doesn't
have much of an appetite, {guess who's been getting into his Halloween candy?}
so I have been trying to make simple but healthy dinners.
I love quiche.
I love it that you can make it for breakfast, and eat it for lunch, and for dinner!
It's leftovers are great and it's super easy to make.
We had this for dinner last night served with a "milkshake"
The "milkshake" was strawberry greek yogurt, orange juice, vanilla protein powder,
nonfat milk, and spinach. The kids loved it. So here you go, a quick and healthy dinner.
{I suppose it doesn't count though if you eat this along with the Halloween candy huh?
Darn.}
