~lately loving~{summer addition}

I love running across cool new products and I love being able to pass them along to you.
Some of these you may have heard of, some might be new to you.
Whatever the case may be, I think they are must haves for the coming summer months!

I recently found these throw beds from Hedgehouse USA.
Check out the range of colors.
I ordered the charcoal stripe one.
Great for sleepovers, camping, outdoor movie night, etc.
I love how they roll up for easy storage too.

I also just ordered these pillows.
You can never have enough pillows!
{am I seeing a grey trend?}

I also stocked up on unbreakable wine glasses for outdoor entertaining.

I also finally found some DHA FREE sunless tanner that I am loving.
You can order it here.

And if you are still in need of a fathers day gift, any one of these fun things from TJ Maxx are sure to fit the bill.

And of course, I have to include something from one of my favorites, World Market.

This has my name written all over it, wouldn't you say.
Well, my daughters name at least!

Hope you are all enjoying your week!

~a couple new things in our bedroom~

Keeping things light and comfy and cozy in our room.
I had seen this bench from time to time at TJ Maxx, and then again at Marshalls.
I have always been drooling over it, but never took the plunge.
Well, I finally did and I couldn't be happier.
I love how it goes with our linen bedding and the unbleached wood is perfect.

I also added a 8x10 jute rug for texture.
I really don't like the color of our carpet so this helped neutralize it a bit.
You can find the rug here
{super cheap as they are always having giant sales!}
In fact it's only $189.75 for a 8x10 with free shipping, normally $759.00.
Use coupon code: MOMS75
for 75% off the entire site.

Here are a few more items from TJ Maxx in their
"sunbleached collection" that caught my eye.

I really want that chair!
One thing I did get that was similar to one of the above items:

Happy Monday!

~Maxx motherhood~

My life wouldn't be the same without these two.
I love these kiddos and how much they make me smile.
I love spending time with them and watching them grow and learn.
One of my favorite things to do with them is to hang out in the kitchen and bake.
We all love cooking and creating meals for family and friends.

I was challenged by TJ Maxx to see how I "Maxx Motherhood"
Seeing as how we spend so much time in the kitchen, I headed down there to pick up a few new things for the kitchen.
TJ Maxx is the best place to pick up huge glass jars with lids.
They are by far the most inexpensive place to buy them.
I picked up a few really big ones to corral snacks on the counter, and of course, I needed a new candle to go there as well.
Keeping healthy snacks handy
{don't look at the cookies above}
makes me feel good and the kids can just grab them as they pass through the kitchen.

I also picked up this tall glass jar with no lid and placed a battery operated candle in it.
It's on a timer and comes on when it gets dark for 4 hours.
TJ Maxx is also the cheapest place to get these candles.

If love picking up various white dishes there too.
I got this one and placed a faux orchid in it.
Then I just added spanish moss all around the top.
I also picked up this clock.
I don't think anything I have showed you so far was over $14.99.

 Oh Murchison Hume, how I love you.
Although I got all this online, if you are lucky you can sometimes find them at TJ Maxx and Marshalls.
Scoop them up fast if you see them, they go fast!

More white dishes from, you guessed it, TJ Maxx!
You seriously cannot beat their prices!

And because I am sharing my new kitchen goodies with you, I wanted to show you my "new" rug that I got for, wait for it, $1.00 at a church rummage sale!
Originally I was going to make pillows with it, but I think I love it here.

Well, now that the kitchen is clean and clutter free, I think I am off to enjoy some of those chocolate chip cookies sitting on the counter!

~decorating our master bath with TJ Maxx~

I love discount stores, don't you?
We have a TJ Maxx about 10 minutes from my house, it can be very dangerous.
But, TJ Maxx is the first place I thought of when I envisioned sprucing up our master bath.
I feel like spring is a great time to change things up a little, bring a few new knick knacks in.

As you can see, I found some great deals…..
That faux greenery is my favorite.
I am usually not a fan of faux plants, but this one was gorgeous.

The little concrete planters hold little odds and ends like hair ties and headbands.

Another thing I like to buy at TJ Maxx is candles.
They have so many, which is good because I literally have a candle burning all day everyday.

The picture frame below sits on a different shelf.
It was around $7.00.

This is a great time of year to go buy little planters and garden items.

The wooden beads I just found at a rummage sale.

Another thing I recently did which has made my life so much easier, was to bring my Keurig into the bathroom.
My kids think I am super lazy, but let me tell you, it is so nice to not have to walk far to make that first cup of coffee in the morning!

This little wooden crate/tray and cups was a score from the same rummage sale.

While at TJ Maxx, I also picked up this jute rug, $16.99, can't beat it.
The antique rug I found recently while out thrifting.
It's super soft underfoot.

What are some of your best deals you've found recently?

~our dining room & break~

Kids are on vacation this week, so I am taking a few days off from blogging to spend time with them.
If you'd like to follow along on instagram, you can do so here.

In the meantime, I am loving the blue pillows I moved from Savannah's room to the living room so much, that I went to TJ Maxx and scored a Broyhill lamp I love for the adjoining dining room.
Pillows from Spark Modern.

~hallway makeover~

Remember back when we got our little baking niche in the kitchen wallpapered?
Well, that same day I also had Janet install the same wallpaper in our hallway niche.

Way back when, this area started as a coat closet.
It was always jam packed with off season coats and clothes and it drove me crazy.
I thought taking off the doors would not only make the space more inviting, but also visually open up the narrow hallway.

I added the white bead board years ago.
Then I added the bench with cubbies for hats, mittens, etc. in the winter, sunscreen, goggles, and towels in the summer.

After it was all wallpapered I went on the hunt for the perfect mirror and bench cushion.

I found the mirror at TJ Maxx.
I knew I wanted something round and I liked the shape of this one, and the color was perfect.

I went with Tonic Living for the bench cushion fabric and the cushion cover itself.
I had heard of other bloggers raving about their customer service and product.
They exceeded my expectations.
When the cushion cover arrived it was not only beautiful but it fit my existing cushions like a glove.
Not only that, but they were more than happy to answer my 5,000 emails before ordering.
Ok, maybe not 5,000, but there was a lot!

This is the fabric I ended up using.
It's called Bristol Charcoal and you can find it here.
They sent me several samples and this one was the closest match to the color in the wallpaper.

Here are some of the other sources from this spot:

Grain sack pillow from Dreamy Whites.
Betwixt pillow covers {who are generously offering you free shipping from their site
using coupon code: FREESHIPPING
from Spark Modern.
Grey pillow with lettering from Restoration Hardware {no longer available}
Baskets under bench from Ikea.
Bench from Target. {similar}
Wallpaper is Schumacher Chenonceau in charcoal.

Tonic Living is also offering all My Sweet Savannah readers 10% off their purchases, which is good on anything in their store including custom orders, and already reduced items, no minimum purchase.
The coupon code is

MYSWEET10

and is valid for 2 weeks, running Spet. 9-23.
Thank you to Tonic Living and to Spark Modern for these great discounts!
